Education and socially responsible youth
When schools prioritize social responsibility, it means that individuals and schools must act in the best interests of their environment and society as a whole. IB schools believe that students are agents of change and have the potential to make a difference. For schools to allow their students to understand the real-world needs around them they must provide authentic opportunities for students to engage with the local community. Education acts as an effective medium of communication to raise youth who are socially responsible; however, without real-world experience, this education can often remain theoretical and rarely put into practice.
